Seren Creigiau Star Newspaper Club

Arferai’r clwb ‘Seren Creigiau Star’ gwrdd bob nos Fawrth ar ôl ysgol am 3.30yh tan 4.30yh. Chwech

disgybl o Flwyddyn 6 oedd yn aelodau o’r clwb, ond arferai chwech disgybl o Flwyddyn 5 ymuno â nhw yn

Nhymor y Gwanwyn er mwyn cysgodi’u gwaith a pharatoi ar gyfer Tymor yr Hydref. Cynhyrchir papur

newydd yr ysgol bob tymor ar gyfer disgyblion yr ysgol. Mae pob disgybl yn derbyn copi ar ddiwedd y

tymor yn rhad ac am ddim. Mae’r Seren Creigiau Star yn cynnwys erthyglau am newyddion

ysgol a digwyddiadau a ysgrifennwyd gan y disgyblion. Mae’r tîm yn datblygu sgiliau TGCh, sgiliau

ieithyddol, sgiliau cyfathrebu a sgiliau cymdeithasol yn ystod y sesiynau hyn ac maen nhw’n falch iawn o’u

hymdrechion a’r canlyniadau. O fis Medi 2014 ymlaen, bydd POB UN o ddisgyblion Blwyddyn 5 yn gyfrifol

am greu papur newydd yr ysgol gyda chymorth Mrs Kirkman a Mrs Ellis!  Edrychwn ymlaen yn eiddgar i

gael dechrau ar y gwaith!

Up until July 2014 the ‘Seren Creigiau Star’ club met every Tuesday after school, from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.

The newspaper team consisted of six Year 6 pupils but a ‘shadow team’ of six Year 5 pupils joined them

during the Spring Term in readiness for taking over in the following Autumn Term. The school newspaper

is produced termly for the pupils of the school.  Each pupil receives a copy at the end of term, free of

charge. Seren Creigiau Star contains articles written by the pupils who mention school news and

Information involving the school and the community. The newspaper team develop their ICT skills,

language skills, communication skills and social skills during these sessions and they are very proud of

their final results. From September 2014, ALL Year 5 pupils will be responsible for producing the school

newspaper with the help of Mrs Kirkman and Mrs Ellis. We can’t wait to get started!
