Croeso i Ddosbarth 6!
Mae hi wedi bod yn hyfryd i ddod i nabod chi gyd dros yr wythnos diwethaf. Gobeithio eich bod chi, fel fi, yn edrych ymlaen at y flwyddyn brysur, gyffrous a phwysig sydd o'n blaenau. Ein hymholiad y tymor hwn ydy 'Sut effeithiodd y Chwyldro Diwydiannol ar Gymru a'r byd ehangach?' Gallwch ddarllen mwy am beth rydyn ni'n bwriadu dysgu yn ystod y tymor ar drosolwg y tymor. Gallwch hefyd weld yr opsiynau am brosiect gwaith cartref y tymor ar y grid uchod.
Dyma ambell beth i gofio:
- Ymarfer corff yn y neuadd pob dydd Mawrth.
- Ymarfer corff ar yr iard/cae pob dydd Mercher.
- Byddaf yn cael CPA bob yn ail ddydd Mercher a bydd Mrs Stone yn eich dysgu ar y dyddiau hyn - bydd angen esgidiau glaw neu esgidiau sbâr arnoch ar gyfer yr ardd.
- Mi fydd angen dod i'r ysgol wedi gwisgo'n addas h.y. cit addas a chrys polo glas yr ysgol. Cofiwch i dynnu eich clustlysau os yn bosib hefyd neu bydd angen dod â plastrau neu dâp i wisgo.
- Bydd gwaith cartref yn cael ei osod ar Teams ar ddydd Gwener, ac yna cwblhewch erbyn dydd Mercher os gwelwch yn dda (gallaf weld pwy sy'n edrych ar yr aseiniadau a phwy sydd ddim).
- Mae croeso i chi dod â llyfr darllen o adref i’w ddarllen yn yr ysgol yn ystod ein sesiynau darllen dyddiol ond mae yna digon o ddewis i chi yn yr ysgol hefyd. Hoffwn bwysleisio pwysigrwydd darllen yn aml (yn Gymraeg a Saesneg) adref hefyd.
- Peidiwch ag anghofio - dim ond un cas pensil sydd angen ar gyfer yr ysgol.
- Rhowch unrhyw ffonau symudol neu ddyfeisiau tebyg i mi neu'r swyddfa a byddant yn cael eu dychwelyd ar ddiwedd y dydd.

Welcome to Dosbarth 6!
It's been lovely getting to know you all over the past week. I hope you, like me, are looking forward to the busy, exciting and important year ahead. Our inquiry this term is 'How did the Industrial Revolution impact Wales and the wider world?' You can read more about what we plan to learn during the term on the termly overview. You can also see the options for this term's homework project on the grid above.
Here are a few things to remember:
- P.E. in the hall every Tuesday.
- P.E. on the yard/field every Wednesday.
- I have PPA every other Wednesday and Mrs Stone will teach you on these days - you will need wellies or spare shoes for the garden.
- You will need to come to school dressed appropriately, i.e. suitable kit and the school's blue polo shirt. Remember to remove your earrings if possible otherwise you'll need to bring plasters or tape to cover them.
- Homework will be set on Teams on Friday, so please complete it by the following Wednesday (I can see who has looked at the homework assignment and who hasn't).
- You are welcome to bring a reading book from home to read during our daily reading sessions but we also have plenty to choose from in class. I can't stress enough the importance of reading regularly (in Welsh and English) at home also.
- Don't forget - you only need one pencil case for school.
- Hand in any mobile phones or similar devices to me or the office and they will be returned at the end of the day.
