Football First Fundraiser

We were not sure how successful the football fundraiser would be....but judging by the noise that came from the school hall on the 21st and 22nd April the children all had a great time kicking the balls! It was also a huge fundraiser - thank you all so much - we raised £3200! Absolutely fantastic!

 

Easter Film Night

Paddington was our chosen film for Easter. It's always great to hear the sound of children laughing while watching a film, and we raised £365 at the same time! Thank you to all who came to support.

 

Urdd Eisteddfod Cake Stall

Huge thanks to those parents and staff who baked/ bought cakes for us to sell at the County Urdd Eisteddfod in Ysgol Glantaf. The Eisteddfod was quieter than usual but we had a great team of helpers and managed to make £522 from the sale of our lovely cakes and rolls.

 

Christmas Film Night

The children all seemed to enjoy our Christmas Film Nativity 3. The hall was full! After selling lots of popcorn, drinks, hotdogs and sweets we raised £500.

 

Christmas Music Evening

Thank you to the choir and instrumentalists who performed at the Music Evening. It was a very enjoyable evening and put us all in the festive spirit! Thanks to Mrs Evans, Miss Thomas, Mrs Roberts and Mrs Davies for the choir performance, to Mrs Westlake for the recorder group performance and to Mr Ashment for his work with the school orchestra. Our thanks also to the music teachers for their work behind the scenes and on the night! We raised nearly £700.

 

Christmas Concerts & Photos

We sold mulled wine and raffle tickets outside the school hall before the Christmas Concerts started. The dress rehearsal photos were also on display. We raised over £1000. Thanks to Scott Griffiths for taking the photos for us.

 

Christmas Fair

On Sunday 6th December we held a very successful Christmas Fair, and had a visit from Father Christmas. Thank you to all teachers and parents who gave up their Sunday afternoon to help. Also a big thank you to stall holders, and to all those that came to support. We raised just over £1000.

 

Christmas Cards

We hope you liked the personalised cards, mugs, tea towels and gift tags. We raised £933 for the school. Thank you.

 

Fireworks - 6th November 2015

Thanks to all those who came to support Fireworks Night. Yet again it was fantastic display. Huge thanks to Rory Lynch for organising the event, Creigiau 23 for the use of their BBQs and to all those who helped on the night. We look forward to seeing everyone again on Friday 4th November next year.

 

AGM - 4th November 2015

Our thanks to all those who attended the meeting.

We are pleased to welcome Catherine Jones as our new Secretary and Heulwen Catherwood as our new Vice Chair. Our thanks go to Maria Keyse and Owen Mathias who stepped down from the positions they have held for the past 3 years. Rhian Owenna-Evans is the new Chair and Louise Knoyle continues as Treasurer. Thanks to those who have offered their help with future events.

 

Hallowe'en Disco - 22nd October 2015

Thank you to our helpers from Class 1 and Dosbarth 4 who ran the two discos. The children all seemed to enjoy themselves, there were some very scary costumes, and we raised £650.
