Class 5: Mrs Hussey
Overview for Topic
Welcome Class 5,
Firstly, I would like to say thank you to each and everyone of you for arriving into Class 5 with enthusiasm and lots of positivity. I am very impressed with your attitude towards your learning. I am sure we are going to have a lovely year!
I hope that you have all enjoyed your first two days back and are beginning to settle into the routines and what is expected of you. Over the next few weeks things will settle down as we get into our routine.
For P.E. we will not be changing into sports clothes so for the time being can you remember to wear your trainers to school and if you wish you can wear tracksuit bottoms with your school top and jumper. We will have P.E. every Thursday.
We will be sorting out spelling over the next few weeks and these will be sent home on a weekly basis. I would like you all to keep reading and learning your times tables.
Stay Safe and keep smiling

NEW TOPIC - WW2
Welcome back Class 5.
It has been so nice to welcome you all back this week. I can not believe how much you have all grown. It has been lovely to hear the classroom full of laughter, chatting and plenty of learning. We have had a great week with continuing to explore the Poles and designing new species of animals that could live in this are. We took part in an excellent sign language lesson and we were part of a record breaking audience. I know we have all learned a lot from the session. Collaboration of our Poles art work is well underway and will hopefully be finished next week. The daffodils have sprung and Spring is on its way. Thank you to Elsa and Mrs Stone who have been busy weeding the daffodil patch. I create a little video to show some of the things we have been getting up to this week.
The week beginning the 7th December, we will be starting our Egganaut project, presenting our PowerPoints, recording our Christmas Carol and finishing our Christmas cards. Next week, remember to bring in a Christmas hat or Christmas headband to put on when we are recording our carol. You can even wear your Christmas jumpers if you want. We will be recording on Thursday 10th December. |any problems do not hesitate to contact me.
