Well Done to the netball team today. They played excellent netball throughout the day. Great skill and most importantly great teamwork. You all deserved to get the 2nd place overall today in the finals. Mrs Hussey and Mrs Stone are very proud of you. You now get to take part in the Welsh National Netball Finals next Wednesday.

Congratulations to all the girls who took part in the Cardiff Netball Tournament today. You all played with skill and most importantly you enjoyed playing netball. Both myself and Mrs Stone are proud of each and everyone of you for trying your best and playing with a smile on your face. Well done to the Creigiau 1 team for getting through to the next round where we get to do this all over again with winning teams from Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan.   Well done girls!

It is beginning to get colder and it is getting darker quickly now. Please can all children bring jogging bottoms and a warm jumper to netball on a Thursday from now on.

It has been lovely to see how much the children have developed over such a short time and the fun they all seem to have when they train on a Thursday.

Mae Clwb Pêl-rwyd yn rhedeg pob Dydd Iau o 3.30 – 4.30. Mae Mrs Stone a Mrs Hussey yn gyfrifol am redeg y clwb. Mae yna groeso i bawb, bechgyn a merched o Flwyddyn 5 a 6 i ymuno. Rydym yn hyfforddi sgiliau fel pasio, saethu, gwaith traed ag amddiffyn. Rydym yn annog y plant i ddeall manteision o fod yn rhan o dîm. Yn ystod y flwyddyn, mae yna gyfle i chwarae mewn cystadlaethau e.e. Cystadleuaeth Yr Urdd a Chystadleuaeth Cymdeithas Pêl rwyd Cymru.  

Netball Club is run every Thursday afternoon 3:30 – 4:30. It is run by Mrs Stone and Mrs Hussey. All year 5 and 6 boys and girls are welcome to come. We coach all skills needed to play Netball such as passing, shooting, footwork and defence.  We encourage all pupils to understand the benefits from working and playing as a team. Throughout the year, there are opportunities to play in tournaments such as the Urdd Tournament and Welsh Netball Association Schools Tournament.
